WEST BOYLSTON, MA     April 12, 2012 . . .  Porter-Ferguson Speed-Midget 4-ton auto body repair sets offer big reliability, speed, and versatility, as well as accurate application of power where it is needed. Sets range from basic to comprehensive.

There are presently four Speed-Midget sets from which to choose or buyers may  build their own custom sets off the shelf or by using P-F starter and completion sets.

Each Speed Midget set comes with either a remote control hand jack or an ultra-fast air/hydraulic jack. All attachments have an EZ-E-ON^® feature, a push-twist connection that saves 70% in hook-up time and 90% in take-down time compared to screw-type connections. Most sets are packaged in a steel carrying case.

All P-F parts and accessories feature rugged construction for maximum reliability and long life on the toughest jobs. To give any shop greater versatility and flexibility, all parts and attachments in all sets are interchangeable.

The 12-piece PF0010 Speed-Midget starter set comes with one jack body toe, one ram extension toe, one jack base, one rubber head, and one V notch cap. In addition, the set includes an offset spreading toe and five tube extensions ranging in size from 3” (76mm) to 20”(508mm).

The PF0007 Speed-Midget Push-Spread Set is a comprehensive, 23 piece assortment of tools and accessories designed to handle all push-spread work that the modern body shop is likely to encounter. The set includes one jack body toe, two ram extension toes, one jack base, two rubber heads, two offset spreading toes, one V notch cap, and six tube extensions. The tube extensions range in size from a 3” (76 mm) model to a 20” (508 mm) model. The set also includes a hydraulic spreader, a short ram, and two ram caps.

The 29-piece PF0011 includes one jack body toe, two ram extension toes, one jack base, two rubber heads, two offset spreading toes, and two V notch caps. Tube extensions range in size from a 3” (76 mm) model to a 20” model (508 mm). There is also a hydraulic spreader, a chain pull collar, two Bite-Tite™ clamps, a short ram, two ram caps, and two 6’ (1828mm) chains with ¼” (6mm) links.

At the top of the Speed-Midget line is the 32-piece PF0015 Set. This set includes all of the components found in the PF0011 set and adds one extra short ram and a two-piece pull clamp assembly.

Porter-Ferguson also offers its Hydro ChiefÔ 10-ton sets. These push-pull sets are also available in comprehensive, starter, or build-your-own versions.  All sets feature remote control hand or air hydraulic jacks, 6” (152mm) or 10” (254mm) ram options, and rugged Speedlock threadless tubing for quick assembly. Steel carrying cases are included with most sets.
